At times, I wish Jaz and him were jenniger, but most of the time I love Bte more. Pair this up with Jaz’s massively stubborn refusal to trust those around her and all I want to do is bind her in a straight jacket and pump her full of meds.
Interesting take on Gnomes – blue noses, terrible eyesight, live underground. Book two in the Jaz Parks sequence. The cat brought such great comic relief and Jack’s interaction with the dog was just funny!!

To add to this mess Cole is set on petting a kangaroo and Bergman has created a new robo-kitty called Astral th Jaz and crew are assigned to a mission in which some gnomes are trying to take out the Australian based NASA complex. As always, Jennifer Rardin’s writing is both descriptive and funny and she can invoke both fear, anger and just pure sexiness. It’s another fabulous Jaz Parks saga!!!! Last I read there are 8 books planned for this series. Then when they arrive in Australia they find out the demon Cassandra has been fleeing from has finally found her.
This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. I didn’t give a synopsis of Bite Marks because yeah, other people have, but also because the main plot of each book isn’t really why I read the series. As you can probably guess I’m on the fence with what to do about the next book. In fact, there are aspects of the story telling in each book that I would have preferred done differently, but in this case, the experience of the series as a whole is greater than the sum of its parts Flame in the Dark.
Vayl and Jaz have great chemistry together and there are a number of nice steamy scenes that bring tension to the story, yet never get really graphic. That being said everything was nicely tied together in the end. He appeared in the Thin in the previous book and instantly decided he wanted Jaz as his queen.

It is fast-paced, with awesome action scenes, great gadgets, bife hilarious dialogue and plot points. Prepare to suspend belief and I assure you that you will enjoy this book.

Book One of the Jaz Parks Series. Then in the second half of the book a lot of time was spend dealing with Jaz’s demon possession problems. She’s smarter than Sookie Stackhouse, a lot less annoying and has vastly less sex than Anita Blake, and has a fascinating cast of characters in her head to help her stay on top of her game.
Even though she doesn’t NEED him to because she’s strong in her own right?

Raoul is becoming more and more of a favorite and it was great to get to see even more of him and his personality.

These gnomes have plans: I enjoyed the book a lot and look forward to the next book in the series. I hope Cole will be okay! And the events take place only over the course of a day. Once Bitten, Twice Shy: The kennifer should have been just another notch in their belts, but when Cassandra’s Demon comes out to play things get a little hairy as she is one heck of a force to be reckoned with. The introduction of “Teen Tardin was another nice touch – to understand where Jazz tripped that switch that made her the person that she was.
